WANT Brownies was founded in 2025 by Lucinda Costello, following many years of culinary exploration. A period in northern Spain, establishing a regenerative, organic micro-farm, crystalised the importance of caring for our land and growing responsibly, always with biodiversity in mind.

Starting with a batch of brownies for friends, that proved irresistible, many more batches followed. And so WANT Brownies was born as a way to share delicious, sophisticated treats that do good as well as tasting incredible. You won’t find an Oreo- or Lotus-studded, palm oil and sugar-fest here! Best quality chocolate shines through, along with some secret ingredients that make WANT Brownies very moreish indeed.

Always organic*, vegan and gluten-free. Always single-origin, ethically produced chocolate and the finest quality ingredients. Always the special texture that’s hard to describe - gooey, sticky, sort of caramelised.

I want to normalise the concept of treat food being delicious and of the finest quality, without that meaning it must contain animal products.
WANT Brownies being vegan is both ‘not a big deal’...and a HUGE deal! I would love non-vegans to experience our wonderful brownies and for them to realise the stigma of plant-based food tasting like sad cardboard does not hold true anymore!

*Our core ingredients are always organic. Occasionally we may use a special edition ingredient that has been grown responsibly / regeneratively but has not received official organic certification.
